Child Care: Children are always welcome in worship. We also provide child care for your little ones age 0-2 years in the Nursery.
God Talk With the Pastors: Join us on Wednesdays around 11am for our Facebook live discussion centered on the weekly study guide. Our pastors engage the text, each with their creative perspective, to offer insightful twists on classical understandings.
UMM Lunches: This week we will be meeting Monday at Applebee’s at noon and at Georgia’s at Woodlawn Commons on Thursday at 1pm.
Please Support Our Annual Trip to Maine: You may donate cash, backpacks or Walmart gift cards. We have learned over the years that sneakers and backpacks tend to be the items that are most needed. Other school supplies are usually well-stocked at UMEM or may not be on the list of items that students need. Gift cards can be left in the mission mailbox in the church office. Backpacks may be left on the shelves in the Mission Corner of Fellowship Hall. Checks made out to SSUMC should say “Maine Mission Trip” in the memo. The Mission Team thanks you for your support.
Giving Garden: Help is needed from now through September. Choose a week and give an hour twice a week to harvesting. See our display in the Mission corner of Fellowship Hall. Talk with Anita Knapp, Tom Ciampa, or Lenore Reber for more info.
Vacation Bible School: at SSUMC is July 10th-14th from 9:00am to 11:30am for children entering pre-k through 5th grade. Fliers and registration forms are available now on the Children’s Table in the Narthex. Adult and youth interested in volunteering, please contact Katie Igler (email@example.com).
Golf League: We welcome you to join the SSUMC Golf League. We play at Windy Hills (in Greenwich) on Tuesdays at 8:30am. This is a fun, casual league for all levels. For additional information, please contact Donna Bjork at 587-6466 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Come and play when you can!
