Sermon Focus: New Year, Same Promises: New Life

Key Verse: “The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.”(Psalm 29:4)
Do you take time to listen for the still small voice of God in your life?
How does the voice of God direct your decisions as you go throughout your day?
God promises to be present with us always. Take time to listen for God’s wisdom speaking to your heart and make a note of it before you go to bed.

Key Verse: “And when Jesus had been baptized, just as he came up from the water, suddenly the heavens were opened to him and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:16-17)
Imagine that this voice of God is speaking to you and you are the Beloved. If you believed this voice would your life look any different?
Is the voice of God calling you to a new life in Christ?
One that is guided by God’s voice and is grounded in believing that you are Beloved?.
