Risk-taking: the practice of taking action which might have undesirable consequences.

Key Verse: Matthew 25:35-36

“for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’

It what ways have you lived out these actions of service in your life?

What other forms of service and mission are not on this list that are important to being Christians in our world?

Key Verse: Matthew 25:40

And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.’”

Who are the “least of these” in our modern context? How do you  reach out to them?

SSUMC’s vision and mission include the phrase “embrace everyone.” How do you see SSUMC living this out in our service to others?
