Please read Ephesians 1: 11-23 and use these notes to prepare for Sunday morning worship.

Sermon Focus: Affirm Resurrection Hope

Key Verse:  I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love[c] toward all the saints, and for this reason  I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.

Think of a saint that has influenced your life and take a moment to give thanks remembering them in prayer.

Whose life have you influenced?  Give thanks for them in prayer.

Key Verse:  you may know what is the hope to which he has called you…

What is the hope to which you have been called to?

How does that hope impact your daily life?

Resurrection:  The act of rising from the dead;  the state of those risen from the dead; a rising again, as from decay, disuse, ect.; revival.  This is the hope to which Ephesians refers to and the hope to which we are called to.  This hope is an earthly reality and an eternal one.
